Huffman's Wagon

The prairie schooner or great freight wagon, which Mr. C. H. Huffman had built in pioneer days and used in freighting from Stockton to Sonora and which was on exhibition at the Midwinter Fair in San Francisco several years ago, has been presented by Mrs. Huffman, with Chain stretchers for a team of twenty mules, to the Sutter Fort trustees, and it attracts the special attention of the many hundred visitors to that historical fort every years.
