Joseph BLUNT

Near Snelling, may 4th, 1873, Joseph BLUNT, a native of Pennsylvania, aged 71 years.
Deceased was in sound health up to the minute of his death. On the day he died he had taken a ride upon horseback, and but a few moments before he fell dead had been talking and laughing with friends, and had started from the house of his son, Thomas BLUNT, where he resided, to take a walk to the river, and had proceeded but about one hundred yards when he was seen by some of his grand-children to fall, when they went to his assistance and found him dead.
