Pioneer Resident Dies At Age 103

Funeral services were conducted Saturday in Whitehurst Chapel in Dos Palos for Mrs. Ella Mae Angle, 103, who died Thursday of last week in a Merced convalescent hospital.

Reverend Bill Shackelford of the Emmanuel Baptist Church conducted the last rites. Burial was in Dos Palos Cemetery.

Mrs. Angle, a native of Missouri, had lived in Dos Palos for the past 70 years.

She is survived by her daughter, Mary Turner of Dos Palos, five grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.
