Merced Express, October 24, 1930

Andrew Baldwin, a retired Merced county farmer, passed away in the pay ward of the County Hospital last Sunday night, death being caused by the infirmities of advanced age. Mr. Baldwin was born in Pennsylvania eighty two years ago, but had resided in this county for the past twenty-one years. He leaves two daughters and two sons –Mrs. William Thompson and H. J. Baldwin of Merced, Rosalie Baldwin of Dos Palos and the Rev. G. A. Baldwin of Riverside. Funeral services were held in the Welch & Griffin chapel yesterday afternoon, and interment was in the Odd Fellows’ cemetery.
