Second Child Dies Within a Week

Death struck twice last week in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Boone of Livingston when their 14 months old daughter, Delores Ann Boone passed away at the general hospital Saturday afternoon after a two week illness. The tiny tot's half sister, Barbara Jane Wherity, five year old daughter of Mrs. Boone passed away last Monday.
Both children succumbed to an intestinal ailment which for awhile, baffled physicians at the general hospital.
another half brother of Delores Ann, Richard Wherity, is ill in the hospital from the same causes but his condition is reported favorable.

Funeral services for Delores Ann were held Monday afternoon in the Welch & Griffin chapel with Rev. David McMartin officiating. Her remains were interred in the Turlock cemetery.
Stricken a couple of weeks ago, the children were placed in the isolation ward for observation and treatment.
