Long Time Livingston Resident Dies Suddenly
Livingston - Rudolph Frank Bucholtz, 60, died suddenly at 7:30 this morning at
Echo Field's Store in Livingston, where he has been manager of the butcher shop
for more than 18 years.
Mr. Bucholtz was born at Byron, Contra Costa County. He came to Livingston in
1920, and bought a ranch near town. His first wife, Maude Duncan, died in 1935.
He married Mrs. Hulda Williams of Livingston in February 1947.
He is survived by his widow, daughters, Mrs. Violet Felty of Livingston, and
Mrs. Mercedes Reynolds of Livingston, sons Frank Rudolph Bucholtz of Stockton,
Raymond Bucholtz of Hilmar, William Frank Bucholtz of Livingston, Luther
Williams of Livingston, and Elmer Williams of Stockton; brother, William F.
Bucholtz of Lathrop; sister, Annie Duncan of Brentwood, and 11 grandchildren.
Funeral services are pending at the Hale Funeral Home in Turlock.
