RETIRED PHYSICIAN IS CALLED BY DEATH.
Dr. Perry Crandall, a well known retired physician of this county passed away early Thursday morning at the home of his son, C.C. Crandall, in British
Colony, death resulting from general debility due to the infirmities of old age. Dr. Crandall was a native of Ohio, aged 81 years, and was engaged in the
practice of his profession for over twenty years. He retired in 1904 and came to California, settling in British Colony, near this city, where he resided
until the time of his death, respected and esteemed by all who knew him.
He leaves his widow, a son, C.C. Crandall, local mail carrier; a daughter, Mrs. R.S. Weaver of this city; and a sister, who resides in Aurora, Illinois.
Funeral services will be held at the chapel of Welch and Griffin tomorrow Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock, with Rev. Richard Brown of the Christian
Church and Rev. D.C. Williams of Bethel M.E. Church officiating. Interment will be in the Masonic cemetery.
