MARGARET CLINE, 88
Retired laundry checker

Margaret Cline, a laundy checker and resident at HyLond Health Care Center. She was 88.

Mrs. Cline was born Oct. 7, 1907 in Manilla, Ark. She lived in the Dos Palos-Merced area and worked at Merced Laundry for 55 years. She loved working and being with her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Cline, in 1970 and her parents, James and Cordeila Crow.

Survivors include a daughter, Vaunita Meehan of Merced; two sons, Dee Hudgen and Don Cline, both of Merced; seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be prior to funeral services, which start at 2 p.m. Friday at Stratford Evans Merced Chapel with the Rev. Johnny Hilton of Gospel Defenders Church of Merced officiating.

Burial will be Friday in Evergreen Memorial Park. Contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
