Obituaries

 

 Carlston Cunningham

 

 Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Overs and Alcorn Funeral Home for Carlston Cunningham, 80, who died Tuesday at his home.

 

 Imilda Bibler reader of the Church of Christ Scientist will officiate and burial will be in the Masonic section of Merced District Cemetery.

 

 Born May 31, 1907 in Le Grand, Mr. Cunningham attended local schools and was a self-employed rancher.

 

 He was a Navy veteran of World War II, and a member of the American Legion.

 

 He is preceded in death by his wife, Cathrine Cunningham on Feb. 4, 1987.

 

 Surviving are two sisters, Ione Grasmoen and Nancy Lint both of Merced.

 

 The family would appreciate memorial contributions to the Merced County Historical Society.
