NATHAN FADDEN KILLED IN MOTORCYCLE SPILL
Nathan Fadden, 20, son of Mrs. Henry Knight of this place, and well-known here
where he was an employee at the California Milk Products company plant, passed
away at the Newman hospital last night, following a motorcycle accident which
occurred while he was riding in Newman. The young man died without regaining
consciousness.
Eye witnesses to the accident state that young Fadden attempted to turn the
coroner at the Patchetts & Carstensen garage in Newman at a high rate of speed,
losing control of the machine and striking the curb. Fadden was hurled through
the air for fifteen feet, hitting the side of the garage building with terrific
force, literally crushing his head. He was rushed to the hospital, and though
everything possible was done to save him, his injuries proved fatal.
Besides the mother, Nathan Fadden is survived by an older brother and five
sisters.
The body is at the Davis Funeral Chapel pending funeral arrangements.
