R. F. HENDERSON
DIES SUDDENLY,
RITES FRIDAY

Reel F. Henderson, 40, owner and operator of the Merced Flying Service, died of a heart attack in Elko, Nev., Tuesday afternoon. Masonic funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o’clock in the Ivers and ALcorn Funeral Home. Entombment will be made in Evergreen Mausoleum.

Henderson a veteran of World War II, was born in Snelling, Calif., established his flying service here about two years ago. Prior to that he was a member of the California Highway Patrol. Last fall he established the second commercial flying ambulance service in the state of California.

He is survived by his wife, Ruth Henderson, 340 East 19th St.; his parents, Dr. and Mrs. Frank R. Henderson of Snelling; a daughter, Miss Darline Henderson of Turlock, and a son, William Henderson of Vallejo. He also leaves a brother, Jack Montgomery of Sacramento.

Henderson was a member of the Merced American Legion Post, the Merced lodge F. And A.M. Scottish Rite consistory, Oakland; and the Ahmes Temple Shrine.
