Atwater Woman Dies At Home

Mrs. LAURA L. STEVENSON, 62 year old native of Georgia, died late yesterday at her home in Atwater. She had lived in Atwater 15 years after coming to California 28 years ago.

She leaves her husband, J.B. STEVENSON; daughters, Mrs. RAY GALBRAITH of Taft, Mrs. WILLIAM PAMAGOS in Tracy and Mrs. LANCE MADDEN in Atwater.

Also surviving are three sons, CHARLES R. STEVENSON in Tracy, J.P. STEVENSON in Sacramento and J.R. STEVENSON in Avenal. Sisters are Mrs. METTIE MAY in Lodi and Mrs. FLORA DUNN in Sacramento and brothers are HENRY STEEN in New Mexico, MAX STEEN in Lyonsville and SAM STEEN in Pains Creek.

Services will be Friday afternoon at 2:30 in Church of God in Atwater. Burial will be in Winton cemetery. Arrangements were made by Welch and Griffin funeral home.

Death Notice.

STEVENSON - In Atwater, Nov. 20, 1935, Laura L. Stevenson, dearly beloved wife of Jesse B. Stevenson; loving mother of Mrs. Ray Galbraith, Mrs. William Pamagos, Mrs. Lance Madden, Charles A., Jesse R. and James P. Stevenson; sister of Mrs. Mettie May, Mrs. Flora Dunn, Henry, Max and Sam Stein.

A native of Arkansas, aged 62 years. Friends are respectfully invited to attend funeral services, Friday afternoon, Nov. 22 at 2:30 o'clock at the Atwater Church of God.

Interment in family plot in the Winton Cemetery. Rev. A. A. Blankenship officiating.
