Death of Frank M. Wilcox.

 

F. M. Wilcox, a well known citizen of Los Banos, died at the home of his brother, L. H. Wilcox, in Merced on Wednesday last after an illness of several weeks from brain fever.

Walter Wilcox of Red Bluff, a son, and Mrs. Hattie of Carson City, Nev., a sister, were at the bedside of the deceased.

Frank M. Wilcox was a native of Michigan and 47 years of age. He spent a number of years of his life in the vicinity of Los Banos and at one time made his home in this city. He was a pleasant and genial man and well liked by those who knew him. He leaves a wife, son and daughter. He was a member of the Woodmen of the World and the funeral will take place tomorrow afternoon under the auspices of that order and from their hall on Main street, Merced.
